I have been following Lora's story for several months now. Check it out at this website.
The blog 5 minutes For Moms is giving away a laptop for a family in need and that is why I nominate Lora. She was diagnosed with central nervous system lymphoma while 23 weeks pregnant with her third daughter. She is fighting the battle of her life.
She is currently undergoing a bone marrow transplant at the Mayo Clinic. Her Caringbridge site has been incredibly amazing to me. It has reminded me how precious life really is, and that any challenge I have in my life right now is about 1000 times easier than any bone marrow transplant. I have been encouraged by Lora's faith in Jesus and trust that God has the big plan all figured out for her.
I fought my own battle nearly 11 years ago. I wasn't a mom at the time, but know how incredibly difficult a bone marrow transplant and all its related tests and medications can be.

Can you believe that was almost 11 years ago? I still remember after we got engaged, and Brennan called your house while you were in the hospital. You've come a long way, baby!
It seems like yesterday and 100 years ago - all at the same time. :) You had and still have amazing conviction, and what a perfect trait for survival. I miss you!
I couldn't find the place to vote for Lora.
