I have a doctor appointment today, so I sent my boss a brief note to let him know I will be leaving my home office for a few hours today. I told him I wasn't sure what protocol was on such things as I am a new full timer. In all of his coolness he responded by saying: "Protocol is go and get your stuff done."
I just love not being mirco-managed. Love it!

So good to see you last week, and so great to hear and see how great things are for you right now. Linus is sitting on my lap as I watch just a few flurries come down. He went to the vet last week, had his lump shaved and biopsied, and the vet, after stating that he had never seen anything like it, took a guess at a tumor on Linus' salivary gland. He drained as much saliva out as possible, sent a couple of slides of cells out to a cytologist, and we'll hear back sometime this week. So weird...
Wish I had experienced a non-micro-managing boss. Glad to know they exist! They end up getting more productivity from the workers.
