Today we celebrate Jim's grandma's birthday! She is a gem of a woman. I wish that we got to see her and Pops more often, but it's a long drive from here to West Palm Beach! I was thankful to have spent time with them on my recent solo trip to Florida.
Grandma is responsible for making my husband an ace at the boardgame Rummikub, which we enjoy often on our front porch. I always ask to play it when I'm at their place because I love games; Jim doesn't think I'm good enough to beat Grandma, and I admit that she is a whizbang!
Happy birthday, Grandma! We love you!
